Good mothers. Practical sheep.
Clun Forest sheep earn their place through the everyday work of a productive flock.
A maternal breed with a working history
Clun Forest sheep are a British breed recognized for dark faces, upright ears, and a focus on performance. Their breed association emphasizes mothering, milking ability, prolificacy, ease of lambing, and longevity.
Why we raise Clun Forest
We want sheep that do more than look good in a pasture. The Clun Forest’s maternal strengths and adaptable, grass-based background fit our interest in a useful family flock. Good mothers and vigorous lambs matter to us more than show-ring fashion.
