Milk from the animals we raise
Raw goat milk from our Mini Nubians and raw sheep milk from our dairy flock, offered fresh or frozen as available.
Goat milk
Our goats are Mini Nubians, a dairy breed developed with the smaller farm and hand-milking homestead in mind. Ask about fresh or frozen raw goat milk and the next available pickup.
Sheep milk
Our dairy sheep cross supports our goal of a flock that provides milk as well as lambs. Ask about fresh or frozen raw sheep milk. Goat milk and sheep milk will be identified separately.
Fresh or frozen
Fresh milk follows the milking season. Frozen milk gives another option when available. Container sizes, dates, price, and handling instructions will be confirmed with each offering.
Raw means unpasteurized. Raw milk can contain harmful bacteria; freezing does not pasteurize it. It carries greater risk for young children, pregnant people, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. No health benefit or allergy-safety claim is made.
Sales and pickup availability are subject to the applicable Maine dairy requirements. We will confirm product labeling and the sales arrangements before orders are accepted.
Seasonal availability
These pages describe what we raise and the ways we offer it. Please ask about the next available animals or products. Quantities, prices, dates, and pickup arrangements will be confirmed before any sale.
